spectacular with mountains rising out of the water over 5000 feet into the
air. View the many island that dot the way to the coast and keep your eyes
focused as you might even see a pod of killer whales.
As you arrive in Langdale take the time to explore the shops in Gibsons or
walk on the new waterfront pier and smell the sea air. Gibsons is home to Molly's
Reach where the famous Canadian TV show 'The Beachcombers' was filmed for years.
Meandering up the Coast from Gibson's, BC, the first rural
community you come to is Roberts Creek nestled in the trees and overlooking
the ocean it's known for it's Gumboot Cafe.
As you continue your drive up the coast you arrive in the
Village of Sechelt. The Shishalh Indian Band (Coast Salish), from which Sechelt
gets its name, occupied the town-site historically. Today they sponsor a
museum, gift shop and theatre. Sechelt has many services and amenities, including
a hospital, shopping mall, coffee shops and several fine restaurants for
your dining pleasure, ranging from West Coast Seafood to casual Italian dining.
